2018 Wally Sauvignon Blanc, Les Caves de la Loire
The grapes were sourced from the Anjou area in the Loire Valley, just south of the city of Angers. The vineyards are planted on two different types of soil, the carboniferous rocks and schist in the northern part of the area and the visibly whiter, limestone-rich soils in the southern and western sides of the appellation. The vines are on average 25 years old.

Lively Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire, vibrating with passion fruit and gooseberry, with an aromatic, herbaceous finish.
Food Match
The balance of freshness and roundness makes this perfect both to drink on its own and serve with salads, chicken and fish, especially where lemon is used.
